When you enter a burning
house
He may not put out the fire,
But He will walk through
the flames
With you, even should you
expire.
When you enter a mighty flood
He may not lessen the torrent,
But He will wade through
the waters
With you, even should you
plummet.
When we enter into this life
He may not soften its bumpy
ride,
But He will be there with
us,
Until the day we die, always
at our side.
