it's true it means
to put beneath,
but in another sense
it means as well
to let relation grow.

so when gethsemane gardens
unsettle your feet,
driving your knees to the ground,
as you water with your sweat,
even blood, all around,
you'll know His love so
your trust
will lift your elbows
and set them on the rock,
with hands and heart
clasped in prayer:
"Not mine, but Yours,
be done!"
