Blood is God's currency
for forgiveness.
"I am sorry" does not cut
it for Him.
There must be blood.
Because of our sin, we so
deserve His
atoning judgement and punishment.
There must be blood.
Because God is holy, lives
without sin,
our sin separates us all
from Him.
There must be blood.
So Jesus took our sin on
His shoulders,
and on His head, our punishment.
There had to be blood.
He did it once for all to
save the world
to spend our forever at
God's side.
There had to be blood.
No more blood ever need be
so shed,
Jesus gave every drop required.
Now, believe in the blood.
