Jesus stepped down
from His throne in Heaven;
I must step down
from the throne in my own
heart and mind.
Jesus got down
on His knees for me;
I must get down
on my knees for others
for all mankind.
Jesus laid down
His life for me;
I must lay down
my life like Him,
to be so inclined.
Jesus rose again
proof of the price paid;
I must be born again, to
go down to go up in Him,
a new humankind.
