It's always First Date Night
With your God-given wife,
Sitting across the table
Holding her hands
As if they themselves
were the link to dear life,
Gazing into her eyes
As if deep within
was all freedom from strife,
Listening to her voice,
Telling you and you alone:
every hurt from her past,
every dream for her future,
and every need she has now,
So you can love her
like God meant you to,
