From the heart
of the Great High Priest
Came a sudden flow
of blood and water,
A fountain atonement bound
by a love eternal true,
Down His hip
Past His knee
To His feet
And over the nail sure
hard driven there,
Then onto the base
of the craggy cross
Wedged tight in a Skull
hole
by hands of hate,
And then down the split
the quake did make,

On God's mercy seat
of His ark of yore,
Unbeknownst to none but
Him
hidden there long before.
It is finished now
And once for all
proclaimed did He
the ever Better Sacrifice.
