| Worshipping, holy hands
lifted up
blowing in the wind
Wheat heads waiving to and
fro,
sheafs swaying
hip to hip, kernels
singing songs from their berry hearts
raining clouds pour
Standing wheat bends and
sags,
weight of the
water pushing down,
silence, except for the call of ground
shining sun again
Heads again in unison do
wave,
sheafs once
again in sync so sway,
kernels resume their songs by heart
Marriage can be a lot like
that,
ups and downs,
but onward it goes
as long as it stays on God's dance floor¹
