Gifts we are given,
meant to be kept
close to the heart,
We hide in a closet
to keep all robbers
from taking them,
But after many days
we bring them out
to find only what
moths left behind.
Once good for something,
now
good for nothing.

hole in a rock, or burying
them
deep in the ground, or even
storing them away in a dark
closet...they are ruined
no matter
what in the sense they weren't
used and enjoyed as God
