For so many,
our hearts do break
when we see those in
tent cities on the street.
For some,
our hackles do raise
when we see those with
sorry signs begging free.
For others,
our alarms do go off
when we see those who
seem so capable of harm.
For the rest,
our heads do go down
when we see those who
think not of debating air.
But what if we,
would it were we chose instead
to see the homeless like God sees,
as His kids, like the rest of us,
on their way home?
