Minus those who choose God's
blessing,
The price of indignation
for all the rest
is a forever wasteland of recompense:
Not just with rivers and
streams of burning
pitch,
Or eternal smoke everywhere
rising up,
Or dry lands lying abandoned
to the dust,
Or stones of emptiness on
roads going
nowhere,
Thorns and brambles growing
free,
Or inhabited by animals
of the wilderness,
Jackals holding court, and
hawks circling
the skies,
More than anything, what
will really hurt
is the eternal absence of,
the forever separation from
His Truly, always out of reach.
You'll see.
