On a dark trail I see You,
a flashlights's flickering
flame
lighting the hiking
path just ahead,
I am not alone.
At a night's campsite I see
You,
a campfire's ring
of floating flames
warming both my still
stone-cold hands,
I am not alone.
At the break of dawn I see
You,
the sun welcoming
me to a new day,
leading me, where
You will, I have a way.
I am not alone.
In the late twilight I see
You,
the moon tucking me
in for the night,
reminding, even with
eyes closed tight,
I am never alone.
