Imagine if You Will,
If We Could Still
If you open your mouth
a baby will grab for your teeth,
maybe even your tongue.

When they see your nostrils
a baby will stick a finger there
like they're new-found caves.

And if your eyes are wide open
and you're sitting too close,
a baby will take a poke at one.

What happens when we grow up?

No more grabbing someone's glasses
And perching them on our own nose.

Imagine if you will, if we could still
transcend the space between us
and explore one another
like a child.
