In That Day

In that day,
A parade will march across the land
With banners held higher than high:
Wolves with lambs will dwell
Leopards with goats will nap
Bears with cows will graze
Lions with oxen will roam.
And a little child will lead them.

In that day,
Opposites and outcasts
From all corners of the earth,
Remnants of those sent far away
Once taken by a jealous wind,
Will return by way of grace's highway
Across streams dried mercifully,
And Him pierced will welcome them.
