Into the desolate sea of ragged rock
God sent young David to hide,
Then drew him forth 
And made him quite the king.

Upon the waste land of silent stones
God made John alone to roam,
Then drew him forth 
And bid him present the King of kings.

Out into the vast desert of libelous lith

To proclaim, once for all, His Kingdom come.
