Kaleo

.
Before I was sewn
     in my mother's womb,
There was Kaleo.
Before I was seven
     learning about Heaven,
There was Kaleo.
Before I took my first job,
     met my first heartthrob,
There was Kaleo.
Before my I held my
     daughter in my arms,
There was Kaleo.
Before Jesus saved my life,
     forgiving all my sins,
There was Kaleo.
Before I took to pen,
     writing poems for Him,
There was Kaleo.
Before God gifted me
     with a partner wife,
There was Kaleo.
And before I leave and
     head home for good,
There will still be Kaleo.
Listen, my friends,
    for God's still, small voice,
         and do what it says.
That would be Kaleo.*

*Greek for calling us, summoning us to do
or say a particular thing. God calls us out
personally, lovingly guiding our lives
