Flowers aren't fragrant
for themselves
Birds don't sing for their
own pleasure
Trees don't eat of their
own fruit
Rivers don't drink from
their own depths
Mountains don't shade their
own peaks
The sun doesn't shine to
warm itself
And Jesus didn't die for
nothing.
People aren't here to live
alone,
We're born for one another.
Living to bless others is
life.
When that light shines true,
Its beams are most radiant
Love comes through.
