For God so loves the world
And so must we as well,
But remembering as we do
The world that hates Him
That tries to Him ignore
That says He does not exist
Will hate us likewise too.
Do not be surprised when
It can no longer laugh at
you,
When the world will resort
To forcing you to renounce,
And if you should persist
It will move to shut you
up
By making you of no report.
Expect this dark dark place
To stoop to any low means
Should you choose to carry
on,
So love God and others more
No matter how much it hurts,
More than suffering, in
the end
The world just wants you
gone.
