Oh, to drown¹
in Your grace, dear God,
forever would I live life
so submerged.
Oh, to be chisled²
to shape, by the same,
so with You into eternity
I can emerge.
Oh, to be cleansed by Your
last waves,
washing away all such brokenness.³

Ephesians 2:5
Colossians 3:3
2 Corinthians 5:17
¹John
1:16, 7:38, refers not to a phys-
ical drowning, but a spiritual
one where
as believers we are swept
away and en-
gulfed by the Grace of God
²As
Michelangelo used a rejected marble
block to chisel to form
the statue of
David, God uses suffering
to shape us
into the image of His Son

Drowning" |
