If only
This nation would turn
Its rebel eyes
To You, O Lord,
And pray. 

If only
This nation would see
Its lusty embrace
Of the harlot
Instead of You, 
And repent. 

If only
This nation would hear
Your voice
Over sin's din, 
And obey. 

If only
This nation would know
Its shame of face 
And confess,
The curse that comes
Would stay
By the hand
Of His great mercy.
