With the basket of the firstfruits
of the long-promised
harvest
now set before them,
Jesus the Christ,
and in His stead,
His Holy Spirit,
God's own themselves became
a basket of firstfruits
set before the world,
His offering of
first believers,
our inheritance.
Pentecost, we give thanks
and praise.
