Just as when Father God
told Israel to prepare for
the third day
when He would descend upon
Sinai
in a thick cloud and great
fire,
Jesus told His closest followers,
and even us now,
to prepare for the third
day
when He would rise from
His tomb
in a resurrected body of
flesh and bone:
Stand in terrible fear
Kneel in reverent awe
Lay down in humble adoration
Know you are before utter
holiness
And feel his loving goodness
washing your
sin away.
Then you may approach
to touch His
holy mountain,
as well as His ascended feet.*

were told they must believe
in Jesus so
as to accept His consecration,
