The Prize Fighter

I have fought
as one who beats at the air
having found
there's no knockout there.

The last round's bell
is set to ring,
I stand at the center
hear the fat lady sing?

The crowd goes wild
victory is near,
but it's only my Coach
from my corner I hear.

Wake up, oh warrior!
if only for My sake,
wake up! wake up!
this fight's on the take.

Get your hands up,
and dance baby dance,
right, left, right...
your last chance.

This crown won't last,
this ain't about pride,
so aim for forever,
don't be disqualified.

Fight the good fight
don't knock yourself out
keep your eyes on the prize
and self, down for the count.
