Respite
 

There must be...
Respite
before renewal,
Reprieve
before resumption, 
Relief
before return,
Time 
to heal.

The Great Physician calls...
surgeons operate,
doctors prescribe,
nurses tend.

The Great Healer mends...
medicine soothes,
stitches hold,
bandaids protect.

The Great I Am wills...
minds rest,
hearts heal,
bodies repair.

There must be
Respite,
In Him
Alone.* 

 
*It was an honor to be God's bandaid this past summer, protecting
His ministry at Abundant Life, until His chosen returned to his
appointed helm. The time to tear the bandaid from the wound was
at hand, healed or not. Prayers for continued healing, "In Him Alone."
