who made eyes,
not see?

Would He,
who offers sanctuary,
make no key?

The eyes of the Lord
see more, much more
than either you or me.

And the key to peace
was cut long, long ago
well before eternity.

Sanctuary Eyes
see everything
both good and bad,
and also make a place
where bad is
no longer seen.

Sanctuary Eyes
where salvation steps
behind the curtain
to show us the way,
where God in waiting
has always been.
