Though our iniquities
testify against us...
Water bearers
returned from the wells
with cisterns dry,
Fields harvesters
returned from the fields
with baskets empty,
Even deer of the wild
returned to the hills
having eaten no grass...
O Lord, we have sinned,
please, don't leave us!
As I punish for your sins,
My eyes will flow
with many tears,
night and day,
And they will not cease.
I will not now relent.
See what I do,
and don't.
