He who always walks
a straight path,¹
Made His creation
to walk in step
alongside Him.
His creation heard Him
walking in the garden,
And hid themselves
in the foliage there
apart from Him;
Neither man or woman
wanted Him to see
They were now naked,
having so chosen to
walk sideways.
In His merciful wisdom,
by grace through faith
In Jesus the Christ, His
Son,
we again may walk
step by step with
Him.
