Sharing the Good News
is an angler on a
sea shore,
His line out with the tide,
his hook hunting
for a fish,
Sometimes ebbing back
still full of the
proffered bait.
Should it come back empty,
the hope is that
the morsel
Left a taste that will lead
to a successful future
cast.
Some will believe and accept,
while others won't,
and will just
Spit it out.
Not every ear will ever
hear,
not all tongues will
so confess
Jesus is Lord.
It's important to remember
it's not the angler
who saves,
But He who made the fish
to swim in the great
blue sea.
