So many kings we do chase
across the chessboard of life,
Thinking they will rule
as we wish, and lead us to victory.
Since the days of Saul of
Gibeah, the true King waits still
For His citizens to finally
learn
the role of earthly leaders
Is not to be pretenders
to the throne, but to point
