Thomas J. Rogers passed away peacefully at his home in St. George, Utah on January 11, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was born August 28, 1937 to Clifford and Gertrude Rogers in San Diego, California.

He grew up in southern California and graduated from Banning High School. He studied as a civil engineer for Riverside County before becoming a carpenter and then eventually a licensed building contractor in 1963. He retired to St. George, Utah in 1993.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 52 years, Patricia, and their five children, Jeffrey (Faye), Jennifer (Donald), Craig (Wendy), Caroline (Morton), and Patrick; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his siblings, Daniel, Peggy, Kathleen, and Mary and 10 nieces and nephews. 

Tom was a member of the St. George Lions, Knights of Columbus, and he bowled in the Huntsman Senior Olympic Games for 16 years, earning many gold, silver and bronze medals. He was a USBC certified bowling coach.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the St. George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George, Utah.
