As I follow his lies without much
         fight
I hurt others, as well as my self
Straying at times far too far from
         the light. 

Thanks be to God most high, it is 
         so written 
Though this be an evil generation
The Lamb of God for our salvation    
         was smitten.

Jesus finds us at times listening not
         to His voice
And though we wander off the path
He carries us back and commences
         to rejoice.
