When the stone was rolled
away,
When his new body passed
through
the linens used to
contain his decay,
After he rose from the burial
bed,
and in the tomb's
open door stood,
looking
at the work of his blood shed,
Jesus sought to find all
the living
among the still walking
dead, so as
to prepare
for a harvest of life giving.
Then the heads on sunflower
stalks,
will have heard of
the new day's light,
and may
so choose where Jesus walks. |
