Jesus wept
When He saw Jerusalem
In its sin from afar,
Peter wept
When he did deny
His Lord three times,
Mary wept
When she saw her baby
Hanging on a cross,
God the Father wept
To see His Son
Writhing so in agony,
John wept
When he found the tomb
Without his Lord,
Thomas wept
When saw it true
Jesus was again alive,
And we will have wept
And jumped for joy
When He comes back again.
